Mr. Gore has almost 30 years of experience of working for major music companies, most recently as President & CEO of Warner Music Group’s (WMG) Global Catalogue business as well as the legendary Rhino label. During his time at WMG, Gore was responsible for a variety of innovative deals and projects with music’s most iconic artists, including Led Zeppelin, Frank Sinatra, Metallica and CSNY. He now oversees DMI’s day-to-day operations, directing strategies to grow the company’s existing business lines, develop new ventures across a variety of entertainment platforms and broaden the company’s reach globally. Before his tenure at WMG, Gore was President of Universal Classics Group and was responsible for the operations of the biggest Classical music labels in the United States.

Jeff Miller is Chairman of DMI, bringing with him a deep and highly strategic background in financial management and identifying industry trends. He formerly served as Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Provident Investment Counsel and was with the firm for 32 years. He has also served on the boards of the Association of Investment Management Sales Executives, the advisory board of Russell Analytical Services, and the Los Angeles Society of Financial Analysts, where he was Chairman of the Education Committee. Miller has endowed the Miller Chair in Government, Business and the Economy in the School of Policy Planning & Development at the University of Southern California. He also serves on the school’s board of councilors. Miller received a B.S. in Finance and an MBA from the University of Southern California. He is a chartered financial analyst and a chartered investment counselor.

With over 25 years of brand and entertainment marketing experience, Kevin Chianta leads DMI’s Agency divisions, driving our strategic approach of creating fully integrated, cohesive marketing programs that apply innovative thinking. Prior to joining DMI, Chianta was at The Marketing Arm where he managed all their west coast agencies’ creative groups across the various disciplines including entertainment, interactive, mobile, WOM, and experiential. Chianta has also provided his expertise heading the Southern California office of Marketing Drive Worldwide. He also spent seven years at Ryan Partnership where he led their Southern California office and led promotion planning and execution efforts. Chianta’s extensive client list includes AT&T, Dockers, Frito-Lay, Heineken, Hilton, Johnson & Johnson, M&M Mars, Nestlé, Oroweat Bread, Pedigree, Pepsi, Pillsbury, Plantronics, Power Rangers, SPG/Starwood, State Farm, and Uncle Ben’s.

Batchelor’s responsibilities include negotiating music rights for the songs embodied in all DMI projects. He was instrumental in securing and developing strategic partnerships with, among others, Universal Music Enterprises, Aretha Franklin and Sinatra Enterprises. His efforts in A&R garnered two GRAMMY® awards for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album and Best Arrangement Accompanying Vocalist for Natalie Cole/STILL UNFORGETTABLE. Recently music supervised feature documentary Alice Walker: Beauty In Truth/American Masters/PBS. Batchelor joined DMI in 1999 from Universal Music Group where he served in various capacities. Batchelor is a voting member of the GRAMMYS® National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (NARAS). His professional associations include the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), California Copyright Conference (CCC), Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP), National Association of Record Industry Professionals (NARIP), voting member Country Music Association (CMA), ASCAP, BMI, Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts & Sciences Foundation, Faculty Mentor/University of Southern California Thornton School of Music Popular Music Program and serves as an Associate Board Member of the American Brain Tumor Association.

As head of DMI’s In-Store division, Bryan Wandel oversees the operations, system integration, new product design and business strategy that deliver on-premise custom music to major brands in retail locations throughout the globe. Since 2000, Wandel has directed DMI’s IT department as well as concepted, managed and implemented DMI products including the soundDNA®player delivery platform, the highly scalable server architecture powering Engine 1 Music, and DMI’s various online properties.

Andy French started his career at the legendary A&M Records where he was in charge of Artists Management duties for artists such as Sting and Barry White. He also helped guide the career development of numerous emerging artists and directed hundreds of celebrity promotions. He then moved to the GRAMMY Foundation where he developed the “Smart Symphonies” program, which included three multi-platinum CDs distributed in 18 languages in 33 countries around the world. He also managed the flagship music education initiative, “GRAMMY in the Schools”. At DMI, French has created music promotions on global airlines and in movie theatres, restaurants, sports arenas, baseball stadiums, bars and gyms. French has also produced compilation CDs for General Mills, P&G and Kellogg’s and programmed the worldwide in-room music for Wyndham Hotels.

Destiny Rael has led a colorful and comprehensive career in the music industry over the last 20 years. Beginning as an artist, songwriter and vocalist, Rael worked with many notable musicians and songwriters in NYC and Pittsburgh, before eventually moving to Los Angeles in 2000. Her creative talents and expert vocals led to successful collaborations with various producers for television and commercial projects, studio sessions and live performances. Before long Rael had established many accomplished, personal connections in the LA music scene. In 2010, Rael began work at the prestigious Westlake Recording Studios. With her magnetic personality and affable charm while dealing with engineers, songwriters, producers, record labels, prominent artists and influential industry executives, as well as her insight and understanding of the music business, she forged a solid work ethic and strong client relations. Rael joined DMI in 2014 as the Manager of Firehouse Recording Studios.

Annette Robinson has more than 15 years experience developing, executing and implementing go-forward, brand-building strategies to build ideal in-store experiences that resonate with brand goals. She has had experience with key brands such as Citibank, The Home Depot, Neiman Marcus, Pottery Barn and Saks. She is a graduate of Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, with a degree in business administration. She was previously employed as vice president of sales and business development for Amistad Freight Services, and as vice president of national accounts for Muzak, LLC.

Michelle Reeves brings over 11 years of client service experience to DMI, along with a lifetime passion for music. She oversees the In-Store Client Services Department at DMI, managing workflows and providing strategic direction to ensure client requests are met. She has managed accounts and projects for both non-profits and major retail brands such as Build-A-Bear, Fossil, Kohl’s and Lucky Brand. Projects executed range from new client rollouts to seasonal music formats and promotional message scheduling.

Daniel McVey has been with DMI for 8 years and came from a diverse background in finance that includes non-profits, theater, performance art, insurance and retail. He grew up in a small town in Utah and enjoys wine, reading, theater and is a former member of the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles.

As Accounting Manager, Jovonna oversees DMI’s day to day financial administration. She oversees all incoming and outgoing financial transactions, manages company records, oversees regular financial reporting and analysis and implements sound financial practices. Jovonna brings more than 15 years of accounting experience in the Entertainment Industry beginning her career in print media such as Tennis Magazine, Where Magazine, Vibe and Spin. She also spent a few years in TV production as part of corporate finance team supporting shows such as Biggest Loser, MasterChef and Undercover Boss. In her free time she enjoys attending professional sporting events such as football and basketball. She also volunteers as a youth girl’s basketball coach for a local recreation center.

Nicole came to DMI with a diverse and varied background beginning with Insurance and Financial Services, National Health Carrier Account Management, Executive Deferred Compensation, Business Travel Management and Corporate Brokerage Services.
While the overall affect was rather like Dorothy landing in the Emerald City of Oz, each of these disciplines have combined to infuse and inform her position at DMI and the daily challenges of Employer Group Management.
Through various positions of increasing responsibility, Nicole’s breadth and depth of experience has allowed her to graciously assume the leadership of Human Resources at DMI.
Nicole has tasked herself with laser focus on the growth and transformation of our DMI workforce into a lean, mean, music machine.
She’ll consider her job well done when our DMI culture represents positive work life balances and awesome growth opportunities for all.
